Terms and conditions

“Platform” means the PetOID website and web application, owned by Dade Gostar Asr Arta.

“User” means any person who registers on the platform: pet parent, veterinarian, clinic, pet shop, boarding/grooming salon, pharmacy, or representative.

PetOID is merely an intermediary platform connecting users with pet service providers; it is not itself a provider of medical services, a seller of animals, or a party to any transaction.

Registration details (name, mobile number/email) must be genuine and belong to the user; each account is for one person only and may not be transferred to anyone else.

Keeping the password and the SMS verification code confidential is the user's responsibility; the user is responsible for anything done through their account.

If unauthorised access is noticed, the user must change the password immediately and notify support.

The platform may suspend or delete accounts that have given false information or that threaten the security of the system.

The user is responsible for the accuracy of all the information they enter — animal details, medical records, listings, photos, and reviews.

Uploading content that is unlawful, contrary to public decency, offensive, or in breach of the rights of others is prohibited and will be removed without prior notice.

Uploaded photos must belong to the user, or the user must have permission to use them.

Once issued, a PetID belongs to that animal and cannot be transferred to another animal.

The digital ID document and card are valid for 2 years from the date of issue and must be renewed after that.

The PetOID ID document is an identity record internal to the platform and does not replace official government documents (such as the national veterinary health certificate).

Entering false information in the ID document (breed, date of birth, vaccinations and so on) is a violation, and if it is established the ID document will be revoked.

The platform only provides the booking facility; the quality of medical services, diagnosis, and treatment is entirely the responsibility of the veterinarian or clinic.

The appointment deposit is part of the visit fee, and the balance is paid directly to the medical centre.

If the centre cancels the appointment, the deposit is returned to the user's wallet; if the user does not attend, the refund policy is at the centre's discretion.

Test results and prescriptions recorded in the file are kept only as a record, and the platform is not responsible for their accuracy.

Answers from the AI assistant and the results of “pet behaviour analysis” are for information and guidance only, and are in no way a substitute for an in-person examination by a veterinarian.

In an emergency, the decision must be based on the veterinarian's opinion, not on the output of smart tools.

Buy and sell listings may only be posted for animals whose keeping and trade is lawful under the applicable laws of the country.

Animal abuse, selling sick animals without disclosure, separating a puppy or kitten from its mother below the standard age, and any transaction contrary to animal welfare are prohibited.

The adoption and rescue section is entirely free; taking money for a handover in this section is a violation.

The transaction takes place directly between buyer and seller; the platform is not a party to it and bears no responsibility for disputes, loss, or quality — but it does act on violation reports and blocks the offending account.

All payments are made through the official gateway (ZarinPal), and a downloadable receipt is issued for each one.

The wallet balance may be used for platform services; withdrawals by providers are made after the administrator's approval.

VIP subscription fees, centre registration fees, and listing fees are non-refundable once the service has been activated, unless the cause is a technical error on the platform's side.

Service prices may change; the price at the moment of payment is what applies.

Access to some features requires a special subscription; the length and price of the subscription are shown before purchase and it does not renew automatically.

Centres (veterinarian/clinic/pet shop/boarding and grooming/pharmacy) may operate only after paying the registration fee, having their documents approved by the administrator, and holding an active centre subscription.

Centres undertake to hold the legal permits for their activity; responsibility for operating without a permit rests with the centre itself.

The share percentages for provincial representatives and companion users are set by the administrator and may change; the percentage recorded at the moment of each transaction is what applies.

Using deceptive methods (spam, false promises, sham registrations) to recruit members is prohibited and results in cancellation of the representation and of any outstanding shares.

By registering, the user agrees to receive essential SMS messages and notifications (verification codes, vaccine and medication reminders, order and appointment status).

Promotional SMS from a centre is sent only to numbers the centre itself has entered, and responsibility for complying with communications rules (including the opt-out code 11) rests with the sender.

Any user may report a listing, review, or message that breaches the rules; reports are reviewed by the administrator.

In the event of a violation, the platform may remove the offending content and suspend the account temporarily or permanently; where the violation breaks the law, the matter is referred to the competent authorities.

How user information is collected and used is described in the separate “Privacy” document, which forms part of these terms.

The platform may update these terms; the new version takes effect from the moment it is published on this page, and continued use counts as acceptance of it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

If a dispute arises, the matter is first resolved through support and negotiation; failing that, the competent judicial authorities will have jurisdiction.

⚖️ 16. Intellectual property rights

This application is by Dade Gostar Asr Arta Co. has been designed and developed.

All material and intellectual property rights in this application — including the software code, design, user interface, database, content, trade name and trademark, documentation and its other components — belong exclusively to Dade Gostar Asr Arta Company and are protected under the intellectual property laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the relevant international treaties.

Any copying, reproduction, publication, reverse engineering, modification, data extraction, assignment, sale, rental, commercial exploitation or any use of all or part of this application without written permission from Dade Gostar Asr Arta Company is prohibited, and offenders will be prosecuted under the relevant laws and regulations.
